It is imperative that your child experiences success immediately. So work is presented at a level that he/she can handle. At the same time different techniques are tried to see what methods seem to be most effective. Because every child learns differently, it may take a while to discover your child's unique learning needs. However, if one method does not work, another one is tried until your child experiences growing success. As success is experienced, a more positive attitude to learning is developed. Thinking changes from "I can't" to "I can"!
