Overview

Active involvement by all participants is always encouraged in any presentation or workshop given by the Centre for Positive Learning so that concepts become more firmly embedded in your thinking.

For any workshop, you are encouraged to have a major input into what will be included in the presentation.

Brain Gym® Sessions

Brain Gym® 101 – you will learn how to do action balances in order to assist any learner for specific thinking and coordination skills. Balancing will help you achieve your goals by breaking down learning blocks. 24 hour program.

Brain Gym®Movements – "Movement is the door to learning." In this two hour session you will: learn how to do the movements; feel the effects of the activities; understand why some of the Brain Gym movements work the way they do.

Movement is the Door to Learning – in this1 day session, designed especially for educators, you will learn: how to do Brain Gym® movements that facilitate learning; variations to meet special needs; reasons for doing the activities; how to incorporate Brain Gym into the classroom; how to use a balance to improve reading.

Education Sessions - Chisanbop or Korean Finger Math

Chisanbop or Korean Finger Math – you will learn: how to count to 99 on your fingers; how to add, subtract, multiply and divide with ease using your fingers; teaching strategies.

Education Sessions - Multiple Streams of Learning

Multiple Streams of Learning – eye exercises, language, music, color, balance boards, lighting, Brain Gym movements are some of the learning techniques introduced to make learning easier.
